Today has been a wonderful day! My husband let me sleep in til 9:30 a.m. while he and Baby Girl made me a delish pancake breakfast. When I came out to the dining room, the table was set, a pink tulip was on the table and a card from ZJ was waiting for me. We enjoyed a lazy morning at home, then a walk through our new neighborhood. While Z napped, Mama and Papa napped and then we ran some errands, went to Whetstone Park of Roses and had dinner at Bob Evans (my pick and we were easily the youngest people there!).
I love my sweet family and they bring me lots of joy. Earlier today I figured out that we haven't had a day together as a family without somewhere to be or an agenda to follow since mid-March. What?! The day wasn't filled with surprises or a fun trip or anything fancy, but just some quality down time with the two I love the most. I am blessed.
