That's right. Here I sit in my cute Clintonville apartment on a beautiful summer day and I'm missing Bowling Green, Ohio. My life there was good. (For a long time) I didn't have as many friends as I would've liked and I didn't have as many options for fun things to do as I often craved, but the simplicity and stillness of that small town was good for my soul. I've said this many times before, but its worth saying again: It was a blessing to be in a new place away from family and friends as I started my marriage and my family. Blinn and I had no one else but each other to rely on in good times and in bad. We grew strong in those years away and built character that we might not have if we'd been here the whole time. There's things I miss about my life there even though I'm very happy with things here. We're so fickle aren't we? Its like we're never quite content with what we have, we're always looking for something greener on the other side. Well, content or not, I want to make a list of things I'm missing from northwest Ohio life.

Nice, paved alleys to walk down - city alleys are rough!
Byall front porch
Byall back yard, especially the hammock
Plucking ripe goodness from my garden
Being able to let Miles run free in our yard
The way daylight poured through all the windows in the house
215 Byall. Yeah, I really miss that house.
I'm happy here and I'm so thankful for the job my husband has, the roof over our head, the food on our table and the many blessings we've been given since being in Columbus. I'm thankful too for my time away from this town and for the things I learned while I was gone.
You better believe Bowling Green misses you too! Especially one particular Brooksider who was in walking distance :) And soon enough, that person will have plenty of room for the Blinn fam to come and stay when you want to satisfy your BG craving!
