Little One Letter #2

Little One,

Yesterday around 2 p.m. we got to see you for the very first time and it was wonderful! This is the earliest that I've ever been able to see any of my babies and Sweetie, it did my heart much good to see your teeny heart beating away. We're now 8 weeks along in this pregnancy journey and so far, so good! I've been extremely tired the last few weeks, but that's my only real complaint. Your Papa has been doing good just letting me rest and taking care of your sister and things around the house in addition to all of his normal duties from day to day. What a good man! As for your sis, she has been somewhat neglected some days due to my fatigue and for that, I feel sorry for her. She bounces right back though and she doesn't seem to mind so don't worry, I doubt she'll hold any of this against you in the future!

Soon, I think we'll start telling friends and family that we're expecting you and we're excited to see what everyone's reaction will be. This will be my first pregnancy in Columbus surrounded by so many that I love so that might make things seem a little different, who knows. I'll most likely deliver in a hospital, since my past with your brother and sister puts me in the high-risk category. I'm confident though, that you are going to be just fine and that this pregnancy will be smooth sailin'. We've waited for you for longer than we even realize and God had a special plan for all of us as a family ages ago. Its amazing to think about how we were all created in His image and how He's got everything orchestrated just so whether we do anything or not. You are part of that beautiful story, Baby Blinn and oh, how I'm looking forward to seeing how it all unfolds.

Zachari and Papa were with me for the ultrasound at the specialist's office today so we all got to see this sweet picture. Science guesses that you're approximately 2 cm long and roughly the size of a kidney bean - so tiny! You're looking healthy, as am I and for that, I rejoice!

Your Mama, Papa and Big Sister love you, Sweet Child and we're looking forward to meeting you about 32 weeks from now.
