Our growing Panini

The third pregnancy really does change one's body. I'm a little squishier, a little bigger at this stage in the game, but I'm trying to fully embrace it. As a woman I too struggle with body image issues (WHY are we all so plagued with this?) and when pregnant, I try hard not to worry about that crap and just focus on the reason why I'm getting bigger. I'm growing a new human life. A miracle that was created out of love with my husband. Another little Blinn, a precious child. This week the babe's roughly the size of an avocado. A while back when we asked Z what we should name the baby she blurted out "Panini!" and hasn't let it go ever since. Don't ask me where she got that word from because I don't ever recall the girl tasting a panini or even hearing that word often. Whatever. Panini has become part of our family and I'm thankful for her or his little life and the joy it brings to all of us. We took photos in the ravine this evening, something I plan to do every month from here on out. So, without further ado, here's the Blinn Baby Bump... for posterity's sake.
